Post by: jampot on September 04, 2007, 08:12:47 pm
website. whats the cost.

im thinking about a website. but dont want to pay alot.
ive heard people bang on that they pay hardly anything.
i would like to go for a website mainly for the professonal image, if dont want to spend alot as i dont think that it will bring me to much work. (maybe wrong)

how much does it cost to set up,  is there monthly/yearly charges?
and how do i go about it?

any help?

Queue  >>> Windowashers!!!  :)  lol

Yes you can go cheap but don't forget that your website is your shop window and if it looks bad it will reflect bady on you and your business.

You may not think you get a lot of work from a website but I think its a very good thing to have for the cost.

Unless you are very good at design, layout, wording etc get a pro to do it for you.

I see far too many WCing websites done on the cheap with bad grammar, spelling mistakes etc.

I havent got one yet coz I am very busy as it is but my next planned move is to get one in the near future and I wont be doing it myself because I am going to use it to target quality clients.

If you want to use my website design I can send you the files - you'll just need a new header image for the top. Dead easy to update and stuff.

Hi mate,

Emailed you the files - you need to buy a domain name and maybe hosting, although you can use your domain name on my server if you want.

Cheers.

You'll be hard pushed to get a quality website set up and hosted cheaper.

He came and stayed at one of our cottages a couple of years ago, then offered to do the website for us.
