I have just entered a payment for one of my customers they were also paying a month in advance but for some reason it would not let me add the extra payment never had a problem with this before so i just put in the payment for what was due then thought i will try putting the payment in through pocket george stupidly i put in the full amount instead of just the pre payment now i cant get rid of the over payment even in the history box

can anyone help??

if you put double the amount they pay ... in all  one go , george asks if this is a pre-payment......then pre-pays, and also lets you know on your sheets the next month.

Yes i know but i have gone past that and entered it twice and now cannot remove it i want to know how to do it as i cant find a way of doing it

Go to History and alter the payment. Select the customer. Second bottom on the right

Thanks Feen but it has gone down as an advance payment and is not in the history yet and when on the payment screen the prepaid box(highlighted in yellow) wont change this is what i am trying to change as it is this that i have entered wrong
I hope i am explaining this clearly as it is fustrating me >:(

Try this. I,ve just done it with one of mine. Select the customer. Go to history. Amend the last payment by altering the  amount paid. This should alter the amount that is pre-paid
