10 Years in business, 5 years with this van. First ever sign write! £500
7 year guarantee on vinyl. Boss Dog (Luke) 01737643720
At the moment you'll have to take my word for it because uploading small pdf images to this forum is about as easy as poking yourself in the eye with a truckmount (with tanks attached - full ones)!
Help ... Alan(http://)(http://)

Must second that Alan. He is absolutely brilliant.
heres mine, check out the reflective writting!
Cheers Goron

Jesus Christ, that is the most hideous signwriting I have ever seen. The guy obviously didn't have the first clue about graphic design.
-
So what's on your van MR Jaybee ????????????
-
i have to admit that dave roelants "lakeland" van & graphics is the best i've seen by a mile, although all the the others on the van graphic postings are also very impressive, i only wish i could work out how to attach a pic'i of mine, so that you can all laugh at it!!!! i bet dave gets tons of work just by the way his van is presented. freshi

clean & dry, j/b probably drives a 3 wheeler robin, hand painted with carpet cleaning services, but i don't like me machine very much! freshi

??? :'( What's wrong with it? I couldn't stretch to the cost of a pucker full wrap this time round. (see the invisible pun there ;D)
Seriously, it's not that bad?! (The out of focus glowing looking bit is reflective and I had the flash gun on). And for those that really cant stand it :( Don't take it out on the sign writer, I designed it)

No its not that bad
in fact its quite good
except I dont understand what the 2 lion crest is about
but the rest - you got a good contrast of colours and it all says what you do and how to be contacted.
-
Thankyou, I didn't think it was THAT bad. It wont compare to a full wrap but then why spend £1500+ and VAT when you can get the important bits across for £500.
The crest is something I've been playing around with for a while. It's supposed to allude to heritage and quality etc. (picture/ thousand words and all that)

500 pounds for that !!!!!!!!!! he had your pants down mate theres only about 140 pounds worth of vinyl on there ! you must shop around next time

Ahhh I didn't realise you had done it yourself - I could tell it hadn't been touched by anyone that had the first clue about graphic design hence my comments, I thought you had paid someone to design it!!
However £500 seems a bit steep if you did the design yourself dude.
-
Mine cost £420 and a local company to me wanted £1500+vat for virtually same design and no reflective so this bossdog is definately value for money! He uses top quality vinyl and does a top quality job.
Alan has got the see through vinyl for the back windows which is very costly.

Thankyou Goron. We both know this guy does a top job with high quality materials. In fact the reason I chose to have the 'white stripe' is due to the amount of 'customers hedges' and 'stupid postman with his satchel buckle' damage. The stuff he's used is thick enough that it just doesn't show through whereas this just wouldn't have been possible with wrap vinyl. By the time I'd repaired the bodywork and then had it wrapped I reckon I would have spent in excess of 2 grand +vat. Suddenly £500 aint bad.
By the way Jaybe - You that subtle with your customers?
This will bring work in for now - How's your blank van doing at pulling in the punters? Think about it...

Sorry that you took offence - I merely stated that the guy that designed it didn't have a clue about graphic design - as it turned out you'd designed it yourself, which sort of proves my point (unless you're a graphic designer.) I originally thought that you had actually paid someone to design it!
And as for my blank van, I don't have one, I have a 4x4 which has to double as my run around. This is why I wasn't as keen to get it sign-written and was trying to gauge what sort of value I would get by having it done, which is why I started the topic.

Put some magnetic signs on like I did when I worked from an estate car.
Easy to take off when you need to go out "off duty" somewhere nice.
Get good coverage for £120
Most of the sign guys will do magnetis as well.
-
That's a great idea, didn't think of that :D
