Title: pumps delivery hose
Post by: trimanyellow on September 02, 2007, 08:47:34 pm
Hi

Can anyone recommend where to get 40meters of delivery hose from and a submersible pump ??

Is it ok to use a jubilee clip to attach the hose to the pump, or will this effect the water purity ??

Any advice greatly appreciated

Many Thanks

The max length is 30m I have a run o 60m 2 lots of 30 joined in the middle.  I have a jubilee clip on the sub pump with no problems at all.

Yeah the £39.95 inc VAT sub pump from cleaning spot is ideal,I have one and it fills my 250l tank in minutes. My local LIDL has an offer starting tomorrow (Monday) for a sub pump for £16.99, so I'll probably get one as a spare at that price.

So definately no hassle with the jubilee clip in the tank...does it deteriorate over time at all?
