This might be a stupid question  :-[

My pump is getting a bit sluggish so im going to by a new one.

Please could you tell me what the differnce is between

Shurflo Pump 12v 100psi 3.8lpm

Shurflo Pump 12v 100psi 6.8lpm

is one more powerfull than the other or does one just pump out more water??

Please help guys

It's just pumping more water. the internals are slightly larger so allowing more flow, but put a bigger bore pipe on it and you will reduce your end  pressure

If you are thinking of fitting a Varistream at some stage then go for the 3.8 l/min pump. The larger one will not work with a Varistream as it will draw more than 10a at maximum pressure.

I know these work well with the Varistream coz these are what I have got on my set ups from them. I run 100 metres of 8mm minibore with the varistream set at just under half way on the dials.
