Post by: deanbaker on August 30, 2007, 09:25:11 pm
I have a client who has applied Homebase Floor Gloss to ceramic tiles and it has left a brown residue now...... she had a go with Ammonia!!! Yes you heard that right. and a wire brush and after hours of trying got some results

I've been called in to help but am a abit new to hard floors

Any ideas?

Dean

It depends on what the gloss is made of? If its a type of sealer/polish you might need some kind of stripper and i dont mean nitromors!! let it dwell and use a rotary with a green or black pad, ive known people use the pad dry before now to remove sealer! but be careful.
