Title: VILEDA MOP POLE, DOES ANYBODY USE ONE OF THESE FOR A MINI POLE?
Post by: Captain Scarlet on August 28, 2007, 10:17:31 pm
I saw one of these at a friends house, they pole has a vikan thread and it telescopic to 5ft with a twist action clamp. It is very sturdy and well made, I could have the hose going through or outside the pole, the thread is well made and better quality than on my proper poles! Luke

To light for the brush head unless your using a superlite brush ie bentley or similar supermarket brush, get alex to make you up a 2x2ft or 3x3 pole.

well I thought that, but it seemed quite strong and I think it could handle it as I would only be using it maybe 4 or 5  times a month, Luke

The 3.5x3.5 is good for the older house by that i mean the victorian type where the downstairs window`s are slightly higher,2x2 is to short and the 24ft is to long, you will soon get fed up with using a longer pole for lower work,it takes a few seconds to change poles and it`s worth it on larger houses.

so far I have 2 x17ft xtel, 1x preditor 18ft as a spare, 1x 25ft pro long. 1x ionics brush, 2x monofilament vikans, 3x vikan flocked, so I'm gathering quite a bit of kit now!!

Watch out for those barn conversions, those brown wooden window`s with brown putty are a nightmare with WFP sometimes.
