Dave, are you only selling as a package now?? Regards, Geoff
-
Hi Geoff,
No I can still sell the TM seperate if you wish, it's just that everyone who's asked so far wanted the van as well so I offered it but having spent the last 3 days trying to source a van without success it would be better for me to keep the Transit!

Hi Dave
What would be an ideal van for this unit, would a Transit 280 MWB be any good ?
Dave
-
Hi David
A 280 MWB is ideal sizewise and it's a good choice, check the payload capacity though, it should be about 1107k some of the early ones had less! I think they changed about 53 plate. As long as you're not going to put 2 portables and 3 rotaries in as well weght won't be a problem! Remember the payload will be less if it's a high roof, go for a medium. A swb will give you more payload but doesn't give you much room if you have a hose reel.If you're going to have an LPG tank remember that adds weight as well!

What is the current mileage on the van Dave and how is it economy wise ?
Mitch
-
mileage is 40,422, I generally get 28mpg but on a trip to cornwall recently I took all the wands and surplus gear out and emptied the water tank- It returned 36mpg!
-
Dave I would be interested at 15k If you are willing to do a deal at this price let me know and I will phone you to confirm details. Subject to condition of van and truckmount obviously.
Cheers
