hi there could you please tell me the best chemial to use to remove black dots from york stone and i need a lot because i have a area to clean whih is about 600sqm and were i ould get it from thanks chris

Do you know what the black dots are/where they are from?

York Stone I believe is very hardy more so than limestone, marble or granite. Perhaps an acid solution would work, though I would advise seeking as much professional advice as possible before using anything to clean them with. I do know some stone can contain a high level of iron depending where the stone was taken so would imagine that some chemcials could react badly to that.

Has the stone been sealed?

not much help but i've never been able to shift 'em iether. i think natural stone aquires a patina over time which i guess is due to chemical reactions between acid  rain and minerals in the stone. you can at least remove the surface grime but maybe get client to live with the spots. if you blast it too hard it will split which is another consideration.
