Title: rust marks on stainless steel

we have been asked by client to remove rust marks on stainless steel bins . what is best to use?

According to the British Stainless Steel Association the best way, if the rust stains are light, is to:

Firstly, avoid cleaning pastes with abrasive additions. Suitable cream cleansers are available with soft calcium carbonate additions, e.g. 'Jif', or with the addition of citric acid, e.g. Shiny Sinks. Do not use chloride solutions.
