MBS
I will be there for the next 7 days at least.I will let you know when I am on the outside( burley rd ) , as to get on site you have to have a site induction,they are quite keen .But we have dinner in the car park( burley rd ) about 12  . We are there tomorrow .
We are doing phase 2 , we have just saved 2 days as the picker wont reach some of the windows

I was contacted and asked to give a them  price .If we do a good job there is more work from them , as they do lots of builders cleans

That was tricky as I had never done anything that big before. I had done cherry picker wok and had a idea of how long it would take to get x high. So I worked it out that way then added 40% to be safe. I have to admit that some of the windows are higher than I have worked at before and I did not really want the job, so I put in a price that I thought would be rejected, but they didnt . I am more than happy with the price I got for it . But now think should I have gone even higher

Well done mate.

Stick a % on the next one & if you get it you know your still in the zone.

Onwards & upwards.  ::) Sorry, couldn't help myself.  ;D

The section that I am doing tomorrow I am getting paid twice for it.
I had priced for all the job to take up to 2 weeks Monday to Fridays, no weekend work. But today I was told I need to finish the section and Eric Wright would pay me for comming in to do it , so  in effect I am getting paid for the same work twice.

The picker came with the job as its used on site for other things, I have been IPAF trained for about 18months now .
I have never priced anything that big before , but I know how long it would take a picker to get to x height , then add a bit more for moving it to the next lot of windows , and then I added 40% just in case.

hi john
       what is the wire trailing down from cherrypicker in the last picture is it a hose for pure water, surely it would be easier and quicker to do them trad when you get this close to them with the cherrypicker or is it something else like a bit of bungee jumping you are doing ;D
