Title: rid-a-gum, how good is it?
Post by: Fresh Clean on August 16, 2007, 03:17:39 pm
hi fella's, got called out on a s & s removal this afternoon, woman said that her daughter had accidently put some of this bionic putty on the lounge carpet right in front of the tv. i'm not joking this stuff was highly sticky, i've removed all sorts of gum's, glues, playdough etc! over the years & never seen a compound like this. i purchased some rid-a-gum a few months ago but have never yet used it, thought i'd try it first & use the small brush that comes with it, within 10 to 15 min's it had completely broke down the bio-putty to a liquid, extracted it with spot machine & sprayed with zap- it to take out the excess, the results were impressive, the custy was thrilled to bits! "wish i had taken a photo".  fellow c/c if you's have'nt got rid-a-gum yet, get some, i strongly recommend this product.  bionic putty comes from woolworths, its a kiddies play putty! nightmare stuff!         freshi ;D

I have found out of all the gum removers rid a gum is about the best.
But for economy I use Prochems citrus gel, takes a bit longer but can be used for loads of other stuff as well. ;)
