First I would use a  applicator , then my squeegee, and to detail I would wrap some scrim around the squeegee  to detail

I used to wrap the scrim round the end of the pole so it had the same effect as when you use your finger for detailing round the edges.

I used to use two poles, one with an applicator, one with a squeegee, to save time.

Now why didn't I ever think of that?  Sounds much better than switching them over all the time.

you can get a clamp from unger to go on the pole that grabs the scrim and detail away, I use the wrap round a blade method 2 but can get annoying when the scrim falls off if only they made a 2mx2m scrim  ;D.
