Title: t/m y splitter

Here's a question for you truckmounters in the know ;)
Is it possible to use a hose/solution y splitter on my panther pro mount 18 t/m so two of us can use it at the same time ?

And if so where can i get such?  -  i've seen them on US ebay but not here at all!

Steve yes and no.
You will get away with a solution line splitter for running 2 solution lines.
However if you were to split the vac ino 2 you would not get enough suction from them as one end would need to be closed to allow the other to suck.
You could add an extra port to your dirty tank .Thats what the guys do to dual wand.However your 18 hp T/M has not got enough power to dual wand comfortably.

Thats what i was thinking would be the case.

So the ones up for sale would be for a much more powerful t/m?

Steve The Panther 25 is a dual wand machine and I have seen a 20 hp converted to dual,but it did hinder the performance.

The 2 y splitter is used for 4 to the door, which is a big thing going in the States at the moment.
4 to the door gives you loads more suction,hence drier carpets.
