Title: newbie needs your help
Post by: david.e on October 13, 2004, 10:02:08 pm
Hi folks

just a quick question.....after looking at a couple of business ideas and talking to a retired cc I have decided to take the plunge.  Done quite a bit of research on equipment to save me asking questions that have been asked millions of times already.  Prochems Steampro 2000 powermax.....any good?? (seems ok twin vacs 100 psi pump small enough to fit in car).  Just wanted to know does any cc use this or similar machines.  Cant fit truckmount in car unfortunately ;D

thanks guys

ps any ideas on amount of leaflets to post to get started...thought about 5-10000

i know thats two questions but look at it as one question in TWO parts

David

I started 3 months ago - am using prochem steampro 2000 power max. A good work horse in my opinion. Light enough to lift out of van side door, and easy to get up stairs etc. Maintenance easy too.

You do need a van though, i bought a new cit depatch on finance deal - 2 side doors - need easy access to kit otherwise you will spend too much time digging stuff out the car.

You will find in time that you will be adding bits and pieces to your kit and space becomes a premium! My van is chocka now.

Best of luck to you.

good advice...appreciated.  A quick question if starting a new business how do you lease a vehicle with no accounts.  Its something I quickly discounted because of the above problem.

Please could you tell how to go about it...will supply email address if necessary

Thank you for your advice :)
