do you need to use a vary stream controller with a flowjet 60 psi using reinforce 1/2 inch pipe to connect everything together to 60 m 0f 6mm microboar hose if so what type

no, you dont have to use one, many here never have, and their pumps have been fine, jeff brimble i know buys the pump without the switch they where desgned to  control the water flow,
and save burning out the pump switch, its a matter of choice, or it will come built into your system when you buy it,
