I spent just under £800 for a 400L van mount with two poles.
I didn't buy purification equipment though, that's just the system.
I can't tell you any more now, I'm off to bed.

For simplicity a merlin may be your better option with a small DI cannister just to polish off your water. You would get all this for somewhere in the region of £350.
If you want to get into RO deeper then you would be able tp set up a lot slower water production system for around £200.
A lot depends on your fill time available?

thanks boys. trevor im not in a rush to fill the tank so a slow fill is fine. i dont suppose you have any links to these do you please. also i did see a complete list on here i think it was when squeky was changing to wfp i've searched but i cant find it. squeky you havn't got it saved anywhere have you.
thanks boys for the help

try these:
www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk
or www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk
they have all you need?

Trevor what do you think of the merlin.

My RO system went down overnight and I was in an emergency, 3 vans - not a lot of water!!!
Having gone out and brought a merlin as a back up, I have never gone back to my RO system, something I know I really should do but just never got round to it!
On the whole I am happy, start with 350 -380 tds down to 20 - 30 then polished off with a DI cannister. Waste of 3 in 1 could be better but the speed is really good for me as I have a high turnaround.

i have just fitted a system for a mate, 250 ltr tank, hose reel, pump, vikan sill brush, battery, switch, ratchet straps, 25 ltr resin tank. total cost £650 (he already had a pole)

Just a thought, the cheapest "bare minimum" system often turns out to be too basic to sustain you in the long term and you end up spending more to upgrade later. Thats the situation I am in now.

You need to find out your tap tds, you may not even need an ro.
