Got a call from a deperate woman yesterday who says she has no cleaner, in fact nobody has one in the village she says. Off I go well out of my way, clean her house then go canvassing. No-one wants a cleaner they all have one. :-\

i clean a lot in a village where there are also other cleaners where someone canvassed my customers cos he had been told there wasnt a cleaner there. My customers said he seemed really upset when they said i did most of the village. If he looked at the windows he would know!! Its a large village to. Do people really think whole communities wouldnt have a wc??

This last week Ive been targeting a few hamlets, someone else on here mentioned theyd done that and had a result; Ive picked up £200.00 for my efforts, and Im not stopping there ;D
I got a £80.00 (inside swimming pool jobbie etc) a £45.00 a £27.00 a £16.00 a £15.00 and an £8.00.
Very pleased, Ill be doing the swimming pool one tomorrow, I might ry an dget osme pics when Im there and put them up on here.
Ive found to help improve the rate of positive responses that I had to go back on a number of occasions, had to phone through to some and just keep up the tempo to keep knocking and plugging away. I also tried some estates, but not a jot, nought, nothing, Id prefer to have work away from estates to be honest, a change of scenery in the countryside'll do me fine thats muchly ;D ;D

Hi mate. I found that when I canvassed a little village by mine only one person didn't have a window cleaner in a village that had about 100 houses on about 5 roads. I did this one house and then next month the lady sent me over the road. I have been picking up one every visit since. I now have 7 on one road and 1 in the next and I've been told that there are 3 that are having building work done and one of them is worth a good few bob and they will all be on my books come autumn! So don't give up just yet dave just get up there of a weekend and do it and look at the money a beer tokens for now. Makes it a little more worth while sometimes if you see the money as a treat for yourself. ;)
