I would like to start pushing my advertising so need a few thousand leaflets printing, I imagine A5 size is ample but not sure about colour, what do you guys think? does the extra outlay for colour pay in improved responce??
Also what would you expect to pay per 1000 or 5000 prints on A5 in colour and B&W??
Many Thanks
Paul

Tradeprint Warehouse Hull 01482 342464 about £70 ten thousand A5
After Robert Saunders marketing seminar on Friday not sure if A5 one sided is good enough.
-

I guess its safe to talk as he said it in public.
Fasttrack use A3 printed on both sides cramed with info. printed on pinkpaper It is the famous pink flyer
Reasons why use their service etc Similar idea to Yellow page advert but more of it.
They also use A4 printed on both sides.
For it to work though you need to know entire system.
-
Wow :o Double sided A3 is huge!!! and must cost a bomb to print.
So what kind of detail should be included in the flyer??

Hi Paul
A5 Leaflets are the same price B&W as one colour, I pay £60 for 10,000 with free artwork, best to do the design yourself with MS Publisher or Serif page plus. I have always used A5, but I have thought of using A4 but A3 seems far too big.
A print shop works out cheaper than a commercial printers.
Regards Dave.

There is a new franchise about to launch in the UK that bases all its marketing on the Joe Polish system even down to the vans being plastered in the material
So expect to see more not less of Mr JP
-
How much detail does the JP technique actually go into?
Paul

Pay your money for Fast Trak and you will find out!!

A3 pink, printed both sides :-\
lets cut through the crap, leaflets are about getting work. before you start putting out A3pink blaa..blaa..blaa do your maths
20,000 A5 one colour printed and delivered £550. the cost of the A3 pink leaflet its self will be higher than this before you even get them delivered
the pink leaflet will have to outpull a normal leaflet 5-1 to be worth the hassle (concidering most leaflet delivery companies will charge a premium for its delivery)
I know it goes against every bussiness principle but I think with leaflets it quantity not quality that counts

John, Not Paying for that, I'll improvise and re jig a Joe Polish YP add, much cheaper ;D

Mike,
If I heard correctly I think the cost for an A3 leaflet was 5p including delivery but Martin Riley is the one who does it.
-
Ian that amount might be right., 20,000 x 5p would cost £1000.
to print them would cost £600 which leaves £400 for delivery so it depends how much delivery cost around the country.
