Ive got some for sale
You could peel off the tel no & name and add your own
-
Last time I looked there were a few selling on ebay, they just make them up to your requirements.
-
Don't do it Karl.
Have some vinyl on your car instead
You can have see out pics on the windows too.
-
I went for this as when I go to sell the van I will not have the hassle of trying to get off my sign writing if I had it done.
A word of warning if you do go that route make sure you look after them as per you sign writer's instructions. Take them off regularly and when washing your van, or as a lot have been caught out they stick to your van and damage your paint.
-
Some example you are DA.
Sign writing cost's less than your registration scheme. A man in your position should set an example, it's a bit like these council leaders you see going about as scruff bags and carrying their documents in a supermarket carrier bag.

You've lost me Geoff Kennedy from Derby ;)
The guy asked a question, my views were posted. It was profesionally done after speaking to other window cleaners who also had it done.
Each to their own.

ive got them on my car
i got mine from ebay, i can get the guys web site tomrrow if you want
ive heard all the " it'll damage your paint work " and " you look tin pot / unprofessional " etc etc
when my car is ready to go, it'll be worth next to nothing anyway AND a sign is a sign is a sign, it has my info on it, that what it does, its a sign afterall ( just peels off when i want it to, when i go and collect my dole money ::) ::) )

Well I would get some sort of wrap, but I go camping and site just don't let commercial vehicles on. Mag signs are the only answer.
Get me the site addy then matt.
-
It wont cost you anything to find out what can be done and how much.
Where I got mine done(i didn't have picures) they have a car like this and it's brilliant. It probably would be over £300 though.
Depends on definition of commercial. I wouldn't class a car as commercial.

most sites will say " anything signwritten is commercail" i know of a VW campervan that has a sign on the side, they allways get asked about it on sites, i guess the site dont want a guy in his trannie turning up with a matress in the back

We used to have mag signs as we undertook several Sub-Contract jobs that we had to go in "invisible" and as per the contract holder, so the ability to have a plain van had its benefit's. I also used mag's as I used my own 4 x 4 for work which mean't weekdays it was a company car and at weekends it became a personal vehicle.
However, I did find we lost several signs, either with the wind and rian or by forgetting to take them off and having them stolen??
We now opt for sign written vans, the main reason was the amount of vinyl we could have against the cost of a mag strip! The contracts we had were not jumping for joy about our signs but realised we are contracted and couldn't nor wouldn't take work form them. Thats not professional and we don't bite the hand that feeds us!!
The upside to our sign written vans is we have "honestly" generated work from them. Its funny we get calls saying we see ya van and blah, blah, ..... I have also had people calling to tell me how irratic my drivers are, oops!
Either option works, I guess it just depends on what you want from your vehicle.

the guy i got them off 2 years ago, his site has gone

the 2nd 1 looks interesting, you could use a pic of a WFP brush etc on the side of your sign, not sure of the custom price though
the first link is the same as i got, same price aswell

this link looks interesting, they will design it for you and you can use a logo etc, good price for all of that

Our local council won't let you take any rubbish to the skips with a sign written van.
You even have to get a permit for a none written one. Being able to taske them off has it's advantages. Dai

ive had them signs on my van for pressure washing... they aint a bit of use at 500mm x 200 etc...... i had two at 2ft x 1ft,
still too small.....
i want people to be able to read my number from cars, inside houses whilst i clean etc....
i still have yet to find magnetic signs that fit the whole of my van sides.... unless of course you get 4 for each side etc ;D
