Post by: buzz06 on July 29, 2007, 08:07:16 am
mornin, ive just come back from getting my sunday paper at the garage when i noticed the shelf of battery top up water. thinking that my leisure batt could be in need of some i picked one up
as i waited to pay i noticed the damn stuff is marked de ionised water suitable for batts irons etc. well ive got a garage full of di water & it dont cost what they are asking so
is our di water suitable to use in batterys or will it damage them..
sorry if its a daft question but it is sunday mornin  ??? cheers

Yes, you can. I've been thinking about putting a sign on my van - DI Water On Sale Here. Car battery top up etc - £1 per gallon :)
