Title: Web Site Design

Where is the best and most cost effective place to get a web site designed, who do you recommend. Those of you that have them are you happy with the results, do you recommend your designer or has it been a waste of time and money.

What did it cost you in total ,as there appears to be a lot of added extras (sounds familiar ;D)

Has anybody heard of or used, sitemaker1 ?

Any help would be appreciated ;)

I use http://help.globalscape.com/help/csb4/csb/IM98NA.htm

It can be down loaded, easy to use once you know how but takes some learning. Its more of a hobby to me than anything.  Get a few people looking but not many.  I find it fun to plat with  Paul

before going into the carpet cleaning business i worked for a local company working on computers and who paid for me to take a web masters course.

and its not how pretty it looks, its how well you can find it in the search engines.

Hi,

My site ranks at the top of every search engine for carpet cleaning Essex , and that nothing to do with the cost.

Search Engines is where i fail. i am on google pay per click but dont think i have set it up right as i dont get any clicks  ;D ;D ;D >:(

I am on google search and my ad should appear people searching within 25 miles of St Ives. In 5 months not one hit, i know there are less pc in cornwall for what ever reason . But think i must have done something wrong with my key words . I have contacted google who think everything is fine but i am not convinced.  Do you know anyything about keywords or is there something else i need to do. my keywords are all carpet cleaning or st ives, cornwall related.    Paul

ps i know nothing about metatags or have any
