Title: can someone tell me

the difference between a 100psi pump with a flow rate of 6l.p.m, and 30psi pump with a flow rate of 7.9l.p.m. As they both have the same size inlet/outlet why is the lower pressure pump have a higher flow rate

The flow rate (litres per minute) is completely independent of the pressure (psi)at which the pump switches off.  The 30 psi pump with a higher flow rate would probably be unsuitable as it has too high a flow rate for window cleaning.  It also has too low a pressure setting.  This may well cut in if using a long hose reel and a high pole as the back pressure would build up and trigger the 30 psi pressure switch.

Sorry, I'm not an expert on Shurflo but I would imagine that there is interchangeability between certain models.  The best thing is to ring Williamson Pumps (main importers) and ask for specific model details.  If you don't have Williamson Pumps number, google them.
