Hi all i've been asked by one of my commercial costomers to clean a mirror problem is its about 30 foot x 18 foot any ideas on what to clean it with?
-
just squeegee it as you would a window but use less fairy in your water mate
-
Thanks now all i've got to do is price it right :)

I'd use more if I were you.
You'll find your squeegee very hard to turn on a mirror, and leave lines where the squeegee bounces.
Use less fairy and it's near impossible.

i have always squeeged mirrors admittedly not that size with no probs and i cant think of a better alternative buffing would be a nightmare due to size good luck

It`s normally better to do mirrors in sections drying blade off each pass with a damp cloth,i also get plenty of soap on the mirror and normally clean it twice as the first time they sometimes don`t come up perfect.

New blade.
6ml of GG4 per litre of water plus 3ml of Fairy per litre of water.
Blade in horizontal sections, I'd work from left to right as Im right handed.

If your right handed shouldn`t you work from right to left.
-
Umm, well, left to right is more comfortable for me.
This is Left This Right.

When i have done mirrors i just do them exactly the same way as window.

I use gg4 & water solution for mirrors, I ring the applicator out a fair bit and when I blade it off I make sure I keep the applicator under the squeegee to collect any dripping soloution. I then tidy the edges and bottom with a microfibre cloth, end result is a sparkling mirror.

Is it made up of tiles or sections or is it one whole sheet?
If it's sections then blading straight across and one section at a time rather than the normal swirl motion might be better.
-
its in 6 sections :) i'll let you know how i get on
