Title: flag stone cleaning

recently been asked to clean what i think is flag stone steps about 150 meters    have tryed  once with larnce  on about 40% degrees but doesnt look any better is there any think i can use to help  bring them back to a respectibale condition many thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!
