I have been a carpet cleaner for 15 years but only found this forum today. Up to now I have never cleaned a suede suite and dont really know how to go about it, so I would be gratefull for any help.

Welcome to the forum.
If this really is suede, rather than one of the sythetic micro-fibre fabrics, you would be well advised to steer clear without proper training.
I am certainly no expert in leather care but am sure that Judy or Andy from LLT or Tony Wheelwright would advise the same.

I agree with John. "Suede" these days means different things. It used to be a term related solely to leather, but is used now to describe microfibre fabric upholstery.
Is there a cleaning tag attached to the suite? If it is microfibre, normal HWE should pose no problem.
If it is suede leather, get some training or walk away.

The actual material is faux suede

Rio,
Faux in english means false, so your suite is almost certainly synthetic and can be wet cleaned.

Rio,
As Doug says, this should be wet-cleanable, subject to the normal pre-tests.
Keep the heat down and brush out any tool marks whilst damp (cotton towel).
