Post by: AJ on July 14, 2007, 11:22:21 am
Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how long a bag of of resin will last (unused). I have had a bag opened but wrapped up for about 3 months, will it deteriorate?

cheers guys.

AJ - as long as you keep the resin out of the sunlight, in a cool dry place, like inside a garage or similar it should be fine.  Make sure the bag is closed over as well as possible to prevent the resin from completely drying out and cracking.

this looks like a good sealing bag for our resin, just put the resin bag inside it seal then vacuum it,

yeah they are a good idea, no picture of that one but if you can get one that isn't clear then it would be better as its the UV light that breaks the resin down.
