Title: the whirl-a-way and decking
Post by: davetherave on July 09, 2007, 11:39:50 pm: does anybody know if it is okay to clean decking using the whirl-a-way flat surface cleaner

Post by: Roger Oakley on July 10, 2007, 05:17:09 pm: As Chris said you can, but personally I dont. If you do use a FSC, just be careful of how you start, when you pull the trigger, as you can easily mark the deck. Try setting the FSC at an angle and lower it slowly as not to mark/damage the wood.

There not a pain just the right pressure and chemical is all that is needed.

anyone else agree...

Post by: drivewasher on July 17, 2007, 09:25:25 pm: You should really use the adjuster numpty if you have one on the underloader valve, bear in mind as you reduce pressure either was you reduce flow so the fsc wont spin as fast if to low won't spin at all

Thank you very much Dave, doing wood is not about pressure, I have done decks before with my chemical wash and a hosepipe, IE roof top gardens at 2nd 3rd floor levels etc where getting a machine in is impossible.
