Title: self cutting taps.
Post by: KarlJones on July 08, 2007, 03:03:16 am
I am going to need one of these self cutting tap things.  I have not got the plumbing skills and my taps, although I can just about get a hose on them, are not really hose friendly.

Any experience on self cutting taps then, anything I should be aware of?

PS, I want this to sit under my bathroom sink, where my RO (300GPD) and DI (11Ltr) are going to live.  Its not really a very WFP friendly place in my flat.

Just a question.
Don't you have a feed for a washing machine?

Blue means cold.

self cutting taps are fine

clamp on the clamp bit, do it up tight

then just turn the cutting tap bit, job done

if you have a washing machine just buy a splitter and run both off that ( a couple of quid )

either way is a very simple DIY job
