I don't use this feature, hopefully someone who does can give you a better and more acurate reply.

As I understand it, if you pay on a "per click" basis you need to be very careful. You may find yourself paying for viewers who are not in your catchment area. You will also get caught paying for other people who are just "browsing", this could end up being expensive.

I personally believe the best way to get hits on your site is to target people you want to view it. Make sure your website is on EVERY piece of literature no matter what it is, tickets, leaflets, invoices, business cards, vehicles etc... this way the people visiting are the ones you want visiting and you will get a better hit/sale conversion.

Have you asked some of the guys on here who make and design websites? they may be able to give you better advice?

By sponsored I presume you mean to just get to the top listings.

I googled window cleaner my area, when the results come up join the sites that are near the top ie best of local etc fill in the forms. It helps to keep your "adv" on "Word" along with your "Key Words" and copy and paste,  which really help.
I was nowhere but given time you get there near the top, google will find your site if people do searches. Ask  forum members and friends to visit your site and just wait. Most of the search sites try to get money off you just plough through that page till you find the join FREE button.

i love the net, its a great place

BUT

i dont think in our line of work it brings in much work

Swapping link with other websites helps aswell.

If you post your website addie i'll post a spider simulator report on your website which might give you a few thing to work on
