Just an additional note - the vendor has informed me that the asking price is £1800, NOT £1500 as I quoted above.  This was a genuine mistake, my apologies.

Hi Darren, the answer to your question is both.

What type of system are you interested in?  Trailer/Van etc?

i havent decided yet tempted to go for a good trolley system after reading posts about them

mmm, I honestly can't see any advantage in going for a trolley system.  You still need to carry a trailer full of cans in order to work.

Come up and have a look at the trailer tomorrow - we build trolley systems as well but if I'm honest (as a system builder), they are only an accessory.

We are on the Antrim Road, just past the 7 towers roundabout.

really depends on what ro system you go for.  We can supply a 50ltr trolley complete with pump, varistream, battery, battery charger, all hooked up and ready to go for £450.  You will need a storage tank and an ro unit then as well.

Are you working out of a car at the moment?

You still need to carry a trailer full of cans in order to work.

This has been mentioned a coupe of times in discussions about trolleys.
It is not true.
I use a trolley and started out with 250ltr tank, now 400. I have a 12v submersible pump inside the tank and i use only 1 X 25ltr barrel which i refill each time.
It might not be the cheapest way but it is effectively a detachable van mount.
Which other system can do both?

well same thing really - if you're not working from a van then you need to tow a trailer behind you, you need to either have a tank in the trailer or a whole lot of 25ltr drums.

my point as regards trolley systems is that they are never a complete system on their own.

If you are really interested in doing more work then surely a trolley can never match up to a trailer or a van mount.  Thats purely my opinion based on experience.

as promised a few pics of the trailer, bear in mind it needs a clean and a it will get a little service today.  Other than that the system is as good as new, the pump has only done about 20hrs work, very solid trailer, well balanced and can be modified/upgraded easily to your own specifications.

forgot to mention the baler twine on the di vessel is not holding the di vessel, its only a loop for a squeegee that the owner put in himself, just looked like it was round the vessel in the pic.

ro unit - I'd recommend a merlin.  £230

Tank - I'll assume you want an IBC - £35 not cleaned, £50 cleaned

Pole - if you are mostly domestic and only do ground and 1st floor then an 18f extender/predator would be a good choice - £75 extender, £115 predator

Brush - included in the price of the pole, we mostly stock the salmon monofilament brushes, although we can supply any brush you want.

If you would like to call up then get in touch via j.mills175@btinternet.com

regards
