fair dos mate, but its better than nowt and the insurance was free.

mate of mine had to remortgage when he broke his heel falling of a ladder.  was off work 8 months and was brassick.

i'd rather have £175 a week than go through the hell of a year he had.

Yes i know its better than nothing, and when its free its great. But i would still have to remortgage even if i was getting £172.00.

Yes he is a sensible man, im not saying not to have personal accident cover or any other cover for that matter, all i was saying is who could live off £172.00??? And as i said before when its free its even better, better than a kick in the goolies!!!!

i could manage for a few months. and if it was more serious I would then claim on my income protection insurance which doesnt pay out for first 3 months.

i have just realised I have more insurance covers than brain cells, its no wonder i'm skint.

well , i would look at it this way..... free insurance , worth £172.00 per week if you have an accident,   Free,!... i think thats brilliant,

Now combine that with a small policy you are having to pay for, with accident cover of say, 500 per week.... you are now getting £672 per week....

So i say lets all do it.

Gary.

Jack S, nothing in business is free!

Their PL and "free" PA cover might have a premium that is higher than PL/PA from another firm.

EG (Free cover) PL £150 plus "free" PA = £150

AN other insurance PL £100 plus PA £45 = better deal.

Always look at the whole deal!

Oh and be diligent to look around at renewal as premiums in the first year can be a "loss leader".

But as my wife tells me, I don't know Jack S. (pun intended)  ;D

It is dearer Malc than other companies, but it covers damage to glass which I have never been able to get before and it only takes on bit of grit on my squeegee and I am goosed.

I do some sizable windows at a car dealership.  They'll cost a few quid to replace.

I was put on to Allied by another w/c who took out liability cover with them in May.  He is paying same as me and didnt get free accident insurance.

I am chuffed with my deal.
