Im after a 1000 litre static tank, but has to fit through a 680mm width gap. Does anyone know of any companies that make tanks to personal requirements?
-
this may help http://www.andwat.co.uk/acatalog/MODULAR_75_LITRE_VEHICLE_TANK.html there was a guy on ebay a few weeks ago doing custom tanks, they are expensive though
-
Hi
Try www.tek-tanks.com they do custom tanks.

-
you could also use two smaller tanks, and connect them with a pipe
-
How about this?
http://www.water-tanks.net/acatalog/Baffled_Water_Tanks_1050Litres.html
£245 + £45 carriage + VAT = £345.75
I was told it would be available from 28 June.

Just cut it in half and glue it back together!

My friend has his own farm and gets about 2 of these a year. He currently has about 30 of them.
All they need is a good pressure wash on the inside and that does. It's not contaminated as my water is allways 000ppm.
-
Cool, well that would be cheapest option to go for, but my problem is the small gap to get the tank through!
-
Right,
It's 1m wide so you will have a little problem.
Does it have to sit in that gap or go through the narrow gap into a bigger space?
If it's the 2nd one could you lift it up or throw it over? 2 men could do that easily as it's pretty light when empty
-
It will go into a bigger space, but its into a shed!
-
cut the shed and re join it. Seriously! Or put a bigger door in?
-
Ha ha, that is an option, but its a brick shed! I even thought of taking the roof of as its only that old asbestos roof sheets that are screwed, but its all been insulated and plasterboarded as it was used as an office. And i dont think it would fit due to the wooden rafters. Any other ideas ha ha ;D

Why don't you get 2 or 3 250L rain butts and join them together?
