There's no way you could wfp something with old windows like that. :o
They'll leak like swiss cheese.
Don't fancy the damage bills for the priceless interior decor.
Hope your insurance is a good'un...

I do large statley home 5 million pounds worth in fact used to take me 1 1/2 tradditional went wfp now takes 5 hours. One thing to look out for on these style windows is the paint on the frame runs when it comes into contact with water. my customers aware of this and is fine. i put me head on the block and say about £250/£300

I always have a look at how good the windows are and you do explain all the pros and cons.if your up front then there happy. And yes there may be a paint issue which i have also explained.

Hi Paul,
WFP is fine with these windows, just check as you work and take the pressure into consideration when rinsing. We use WFP on a lot of old georgian style windows, just comes with experience and trial and error.
Regarding the pricing. I personally would work on your hourly rate and add 20% to the final bill for the unexpected. These jobs are more valuable for status than for financial. You will be surprised how much more work you will obtain on the back of this client.
Name drop is so important when quoting like for like, it builds reassurance and trust with future customers.
Good luck,
Trev

If the windows are in good condition ie painted in the past 2 years then wfp will work wonders. Price wise I was thinking £280 but P & R is right I think £250 - £300 depending on how much you want the job. I surprised you've not been asked to do the insides as well.

£250-300 does anyone want to come and work for me,i do a job almost the same as the one in the last picture and if i`d have quoted that they would have been rubbing there hands together. In my opinion that price is way to low to the extent that they might be suspicious.

Lmao well with me when i got mine i ended with the internals aswell the jobs worth £2800 p/a takes all together 8 days of the year so when you work out 8 days work at £2800 = £350 a day cant see what youre getting at also they did me a fantastic reference which then led to another £2500 p/a contract so sometimes its not all about money. not sure also what you mean when they would say "suspisous" the above job i hold keys as they live in Chicago 9 months of the year?????????????????

I thought you meant you got £250-300 for the job in total LOLOLOLOL.

I was just looking at the outside and going off of a rate of £3 a window up and down. I think you'd easy be done in a day wfp or trad and it's not a bad day rate, if someones prepared to pay £300 a day I'll come and clean windows for them.
