Title: Swivel Joint
Post by: SherwoodCleaningSe on June 25, 2007, 08:30:52 am
Does anybody know where you can pick up swivel joints.  Got a couple of Gaz's ones but he seems to have disappeared.  I was looking at the idea of putting a swivel joint on a cleaningspot brush, they have stiffer bristles on the inside for more cleaning power.  Or are there any other suggestions of a good brush to go on a swivel.

The swivel joints I have are the plastic ball ones that are going a bit stiff now.

I bought a couple more from Gardiners. I grease mine with a little waterproof grease.

Cheers guys I hadn't seen that before.

Would any body rate a good brush with stiff bristles to go with it?  I would thinking of the cleaningspot double trim but am open to suggestions.

Simon.

Do you mean something like 3 in 1 or wd40?

Hi
Ive seen that people on this forum were more happy with Gaz's first swivel brush when compared to the swivel joint that he later supplied.

Have looked at a few options but haven't done anything yet.

www.decoratingdirect.co.uk/viewprod/r/RODSPSH/

Swivel sanding base – cut base to suit brush and srew on.

www.janitorials.org.uk/acatalog/syr-interchange-brushware.html

swivel deck scrub brush – remove swivel and fit to modified brush

Antone else looked at these?

No some proper waterproof grease I had lying around. Used it on my jetski a few years back.
