Title: What size ladder do I require?
Post by: Simonhammer on June 24, 2007, 05:40:48 pm
Hello, I am in need of a ladder, but not sure what size I need or wether to buy brand new or second hand? As I am just starting out I assume second hand would be more cost effective, but am very unsure on the size I'd need. Any help greatly appreciated.

Many thanks, Simon.

Hi Simon
Buy a new ladder . If you are going to climb it on a regular basis least you can trust it . Dont get a diy ladder it needs to be a box section ladder preferably a trade one . might be a bit heavier but will be sturdier under foot . And definatly get some saftey training .

I'm with Tacky on this, 3.5 Titan, get some Trim to Fit feet for spares, plus a Rojak ladder stopper and some ladder mits and then you are sorted.

Regards

Adam ;) ;) ;)

IMO get a 3.5 set of points.

WC points are so much handier, you can get halfway up the window making it far easier to clean plus no damage on plastic sills.
