Hi ,
I use an expert van with a 250 litre tank inside, its only a 1.9 diesel but i find it sluggish and not very good on fuel,
i just wondered if any of you guys who use one find yours the same, its an 02 model... i realise its not a window cleaning issue, ( maybe it is as thats what i use it for :))... or have i just got a dud lol.

I have the Dispatch (same van by citroen)
on an 02 plate 1.9 diesel with a 650 tank
It certainly aint quick in the mornings
when its almost full but I would not expect it to be lugging that amount around.
If you have a 250 tank you should be flying ;D ;D ;D

cheers russ, whats it like on fuel... i understand the weight but hey who drives empty vans? ;)

I have never really taken much notice of fuel consumption on it to be honest.
All my work is within 5 - 10 mile radius
Obviously stop / start most days.
Reckon I put £20 in a week tops.
I am happy with that ;)

I could do with a 400ltr tank but not sure of payload on these older ones, think i would notice the difference though.

I had a 500ltr upright tank in at one point. But the work I used it for the upright got in the way, so went back to a 400ltr flat
