Post by: davep on June 22, 2007, 06:48:51 pm
G'day chaps, i have just got a Sebo Duo..  Its mainly for agitation but was wondering how effective it is with the powder?    Also what is the best vac to use if using the powder?

Thanks in advance  ;)

I would never just go in & use the Sebo & powder.

In fact the 1st thing I do on most jobs is pre-spray and aggitate with the Sebo before I get the TM out and I always think the customer is looking at me with the Sebo thinking is that it. :(

I would also like to see some answers to this posting, but having enquired much about the Envirodry and similar machines on the forum, I get the impression that the Sebo can't professionally compete with these.  More postings please ??

We use the sebo for agitating but did try it once with the powder in a customers house just to see if it would do the job, and it was really pathetic, carpet didn't really look any different and the powder was really hard to get out completely, we ended up doing the whole thing with hwe ::)

The conclusion = only any good on a completely clean carpet and with a very powerful vacuum ;D

Steve I found the same with Host and Envirodri.Ok for light work but a pig to get all the sawdust out the carpets.
It also makes me laugh as they call the powder SPONGES but it is mainly saw dust impregneted with chemical  ::)
