I have been asked to clean windows for someone but the problem is the have a small tiles sloping roof under bedroom window s which are up stairs. Howwould you clan these
-
this is no help
but every other question like this is answered
get a WFP system :)
watch them reply now ;)
-
If they are dorma windows, depending how far back they are set into roof you can either put ladders up to guttering & reach from there or extend ladder higher & rest it on cladding above window. A picture would help.

Use a pole with traditonal squeegee and mop attachments.
-
Fit a ladder stand-off to the top of the ladder.
It'll do the trick if it is as Im assuming from your description.
-
IF access is not easy or impossible just tell the customer that you cannot do that one. Most will understand ;)
-
Say the only way you can do it is from the inside.
-
or...go wfp and watch the work roll in
-
If you dont feel safe cleaning it ,dont do it .
-
walk on the tiles
-
walk on the tiles!!!!!
can only pressume its a joke
-
whats wrong with walking on tiles? i do it all the time,
how do you think a roofer can work on a roof?
-
they use roof ladders...
you should NEVER walk on a sloping, tiled roof.

They take off a string of tiles and walk up the battens
-
I was doing the guttering in this picture, but I could easily do the windows this way.
-
Jeff what are these called and where did you get them how much
-
There called laddalimpets and I would highly recommend them.

If you're working off ladders, i'd strongly recommend getting a set of pointers. Much more stability than open ended ladders in my opinion.
