evening all ,been asked to clean a mohair rug ,i am looking at h w. e.  any ideas ?????????????????????

Yes, don't HOT water extract.

Mohair (Angora rug) is very resilliant it cleans well and dries fast but don't over do it by using strong solutions.

Treat as wool, use a woolsafe approved product, vacuum well it will shed soil very easily.

Rinse with mild water only and that should be it. when dry the rug should be brushed to improve lustre.

Otherwise no problem  ;)
