Title: what do you think
Post by: Len Gribble on September 25, 2004, 12:10:48 am
What do you think of my response to a parking ticket?

Dear Sir or Madam:

On 23rd September 04 I was issued with a penalty charge notice nbr WS49104849 by parking attendant L4519.

I fail to see why as I was parked on private land!!, picture supplied re attachment, address xxxxxxx, the manager of the public house The XX and the facility manger of the building advised this to your employee, WHO TOOK NO NOTICE! Surely when questioned about the legitimacy of issuing the ticket they should at least seek advisement don’t they carry radios? As I understand I’m not the first at this address who has had a problem!

Under advisement, my recommendation is training, education and communication skills, by the way I questioned two of your other staff would they or wouldn’t they? Very blank faces I then educated them, which is private and which is public I normally charge £100 per hr but this time given for free.

LOOK FORWARD TO RECIVING A NO ACTION FROM YOU!

Would like to fill in addresses but customer confidentially.

Kevin,

re. Parking Ticket.

I went to arbitration with Southend Council before an independant barrister and I won ;D

You should have seen the look on the council employees faces.

Cheers,

Doug
