Today after cleaning one of my regulars houses I spotted this lying in the garden by the fish pond filters, :o now I can guess he's been using it for the water in the pond so no surprise really , but if the guy had a little more info on what it could be used for I'm sure he wouldn't be paying me £25 a month to clean his chalet bungalow ::) :P
Chris
PS anyone know what size this is in ltrs and how much they cost cos I assume it one of Ionics non refillable ones
Thanks

Just done my first wfp with one .Just the one on the hose tap. FANTASTIC.

I dont know if it needs replacing i didnt speak to the guy , i'm just assuming that cos its out on the side its been used up

One possibly two litres and if it's a DI then it's not a good idea to use it for fish tanks/ponds as it will poision the fish.
-
that thought did cross my mind Neil, I think i'm right in thinking RO is ok but not DI

Yes corect

It is an Ionics 12" blue colour change cartridge 0ppm filtration, cost £30.99 + VAT and delivery and it looks like it's unused as when they are spent, the blue resin turns to brown.

They are dark blue when new and lose all their colour and go pale di uncoloured when used up.
