Title: Gloss paint on a wall
Post by: murky on June 18, 2007, 01:13:01 pm
Hi all,

Anyone got any ideas how to get gloss paint of a brick wall, other firms have tried steam, some chemicals but only in a half hearted way.

The paint has slightly blurred but is still there, about 6 months now.

I have looked at various web sites but it seems to be for aerosol type graffiti damage and not gloss paint.

Does anybody know of a dead cert method that I can use. I have truckmount cleaner.

Regards

Murky

Hi

I use steam mainly, but if necessary I use chemicals as well.
Take a look here to see results if you are interested.

This job only required steam, but when chemicals are needed, I use a citrus based graffiti remover and if there is ghosting afterwards I use a product called 'ghost' from Merlin Chemicals.

Hope this helps.
