Title: WINTER! FREEZING WATER, SOLUTION!
Post by: Luke Johnson on June 18, 2007, 12:00:34 am
Is there a solution to freezing water, is there a cheap water heater, to heat the whole tank?, or does a certain type of alcohol do the trick, please help, it is worrying me a bit!

If it's really cold I go out an hour before work and put a camping gas heater next to the tank.  You can pick these up for under £20.  Alcohol in the pure water?  No no.

I have a greenhouse paraffin heater in the van and it's never froze.

Only problem is that it stinks for hours in the van
