when bonnet cleaning mainly low profile carpet tiles, would m power etc give a quicker, better clean than the bonnet chemicals that are on offer?

Gary its each to there own with chemical preference as you will find 10 different carpet cleaners will use 10 different chemicals for the same type of job.
My preference on this type of L/M bonnet would be one step premium M/S.

I really like advance cleaner from TCS

I find that M Power gives great results on wool carpets but not so good on synthetic fibres. Therefore I'd use No.9 from Solution or Microsplit from Craftex.

I wouldn't have a problem using a product with elevated pH such as Solution UK's No9 on heavily soiled polypropylene. However, many modern carpet tiles as used in the office environment use nylon fibres that have dye systems, as well as the fibres structure, that may be damaged by high alkalinity and elevated pH. I would therefore, as a general rule, advise using solutions that fall into the neutral pH range.
Safe and happy cleaning :)
