I have just priced for a local high school ( and got the job )
I was told that my quote was not the cheapest but was well presented.
I enclosed.
Federation membership certificate
Safe contractor Cert
Employer liability cert
Risk assessment
Method statement
My quote
Company history.
They were very impressed with the Risk / Method as I had gone into detail ( 4 pages )
One of the other window cleaners method / risk just said, will be using ladders , applicator and squeegee
All put together in a binder.
To be done 4 times a year, payment 28 days.

sounds good john well done!
I to am in the process of setting up schools once i'm on the preferred council contractor list
i to have copys of risk/method, could i possibly see yours? mine is usually 2 pages long (risk assesment)
4 pages (method statement) its always good to compare to see what other people are using and to see if there is anything else i could add.
Thanks Nat

I am not on any council contractors list , plus they contacted me. I do clean the windows of another school about 500 meters down the road from it though.I would try contacting the schools you are interested in direct.
If you send me your email address we could exchange statments

Thanks John
