Well I knew it would happen in the end once I started using the pole.
I've run out of work, good and proper.
4 weeks ago I was away for the week in Dawlish.
Since coming back 3 weeks ago I've done really well, and I'm now up to date.
I looked in my book to see what was due today, and found I've got nothing due until a week monday. :o
All that extra money I've made in the last couple of weeks now has to go towards paying in next week to cover the bills.
How annoying is that? >:(
Have to get some flyers made up I guess, but this d@mn place is over-run with window cleaners.

Hey...you've got one account you could have done!
The old dinks at Caldicot!
I was expecting you to come and get the ladders off me while I was there!!

Oh well.
I've got another 5 days to do it!
-
Maybe bring some of the regular work forward by a couple of days and the non regular by a week or two and explain you are re-organising.
-
enjoy your time off rog, get the camera out and go and take some pics etc etc
-
you must have some ducks swimming past your door with all this rain ;)

Squeaks, I've got more work than I can shake a stick at; it's pouring in; but I'm better looking than you; so are you surprised?
Would you want a ginger window cleaner?
Anyway, say sorry for saying I'm 4' 6" tall on this site, tell the truth, e-mail me your mobile number (I've lost it) and I'll pass you about 50 to 60 quids worth of compact work (some of it underpriced though; but probably your standard pricing) in St Arvans I want to offload.
It'll cost you a GOOD bottle of red wine on top of some crawling.
-
Alright mate, thanks.
What do you mean "probably your standard pricing"?
Just for that I'll only admit you're 4' 9" tall.
I've got one job to in St.Arsefans on tuesday, so I'll sort it out on sunday or monday with you.
I'd do it later, but Emma's going out so I'm stuck in with the brat.
E-mail on it's way.
Cheers. ;)
-
No it's not, I haven't got your e-mail address.

I know what you mean about the gaps Squeaky. I swore I would fill them in but I've quite enjoyed my time off. The funny thing is that the more work I take on, the quicker I seem to do it. It's because there are jobs I just don't want to do any more. I have/had two neighbours. One wants to go from 6 weekly to 12 weekly. The other has just replaced the gate which means my only access is over the flat garage roof. That's a £20er and a £10er. So I pick up a £30er with good access and drop the first two. Income the same. Time saved - about 15 minutes. And so it goes on.

Stop Moaning Victor
Get off your 'arris and get some more work
Like the rest of us do !!!
;D

I've got a part time job going. Fancy wearing an apron? LOL

Hi Rog.
Great isn't it. ;D Just think back before you switched, we was never round on time. A wet day was a wasted day, with wfp your work gets done on time all the time.
If your work is a 4 week turn around that is 13 cleans a year :o. I reckon when trad 9-10 cleans ayear is avarage. We take on more work as you need to & i'm nearly there. Do the maths ;).
So when your up to date & you have no work enjoy it. Grab your camara & go & take some pics.

Hi Macc.
4 weekly is a bit frequent with pure water cleans I reckon.
I really do need some work, as although I've got things due on a week monday, they are 4 weeks to the day.
Customers are used to me being at least 5 weeks, and they're not going to be very dirty 4 weeks after a wfp clean. :-\
Really I need another 2 weeks work at least. :o

Rog, did you get my email?

Hi Rog.
My custys took to 4 weekly cleans well. Now the majority of comments i get is they like it because their windows are always clean.
It's been 18 months for me now, coming together well. My custys are educated, even if its raining they know the results, if they are not happy to phone & i'll sort it, not 1 call yet.
Give it another year to 18months, that learing curve in the begining is hard but well worth it.
I had it with wc before i switched, now i would never change my job.
