Title: Resin - it stinks!
Post by: TennetClean on June 12, 2007, 01:12:43 pm
Does anyone else find that with this warm weather the resin has started to ming a little bit?

Kind of a fishy-vinegary smell.  Got in the van yesterday and it was all I could smell.  Seems to go away after you've been working a bit, but until then, pwoar!

Or maybe its just this batch of resin, as I accidentally bought colour change resin instead of the usual.  Doh!

You really should wash more often!  ;D

I get that smell sometimes.

I thought it was damp cloths lying around in the back.

damp clothes, they stink like rotten fish after a couple of days. cant see how it can be the resin, even if it did stink how could it get out of the vessel?

I think it could be old RO water in the back of the van,i`ve noticed that if it`s spilled and not dried it smells more.
