Title: Best place for water softener salt.
Post by: SherwoodCleaningSe on June 11, 2007, 10:30:08 pm
Just thought I'd post a good find today.  I had done a search on here for the cheapest place for salt and didn't find anything.  Was gonna buy some salt from a regular supplier online but the postage came to almost as much as the salt.  Did some research and found these.

I got 5 bags for less than I was going to get 2.

Have to wait up to 10 days for delivery but I think the prices are worth it.

Give us a call on 01704 541578 for a quotation for Granulite - the ideal salt for water softeners.  We'll deliver a minimum of six x 25Kg bags to most parts of mainland Britain, at very competitive rates.

Hi qwert

Don't think the ws makes a real difference to the tds, but it will make the ro membrane last longer if you live in a hard water area.  It will stop lime scale build up on the membrane.

Your right the RO and DI take down the tds.
