Title: DISASTER!!!!!!
Post by: anders on June 11, 2007, 10:13:58 am
One of my cleaning girls took out an Airwick Glade plug in air freshener from a plug socket to hoover and laid it down on an antique pine table. It has leaked all over the table and into the wood which was unsealed. Has anyone any ideas of how to remedy this or is it a write off?

Pretty nasty chemicals in those things!
We use Charm plug-ins'

Carpet fitters are always taking them out and laying them down on the window-sills.
They stain or 'burn' into gloss paint!

Our developers have to have them re-painted!

Sorry, don't know what to suggest - except calling in a 'Home Doctor' or antiques restoration specialist - at your expence!
